Recently, Wang Pengxiang, Chairman of Jiaoda Railway Development, led the company's technical backbone to Serbia for on-site exchanges and signed a contract with Power Construction Corporation of China No.7 Engineering Division, the contractor of the Serbian Convention and Exhibition Center project, for the research and application technology development of key technologies for the construction of large-span complex steel structures. Liu Liqing, Project Manager of the main structure project department of Power Construction Corporation of China No.7 Engineering Division for the Serbian Convention and Exhibition Center, Shi Guihe, Technical Manager, Peng Yong, Deputy Manager, Wang Pengxiang, Chairman of Jiaoda Railway Development, and Zhu Xiaofeng, Deputy General Manager of the Foundation Business Department, attended the signing ceremony.

The Serbian Convention and Exhibition Center is not only a key project jointly built by China and Serbia under the Belt and Road Initiative, but also the main venue for the Expo 2027 Belgrade, a specialized world exposition. Upon completion, the project will further promote the international development of Belgrade and Serbia, providing first-class convention and exhibition services to global customers. The company undertakes this project to provide efficient and precise technical support for the construction of large-span complex steel structures, ensuring safe and orderly production operations.

This successful signing marks not only the first breakthrough of Jiaotong University Railway Development Group in the field of international construction technology services in terms of structural health monitoring and intelligent construction, but also serves as a model for the company's service in the construction of the Belt and Road.
